HB3142 HFA Byrd 2-26

                Delegate Byrd moves to amend HB3142 on page 1, Section 3, lines 10 through 12, by striking out the underlined proviso, and inserting in lieu thereof, the following: 

                “Provided, That effective July 1, 2019, the tax rate imposed by this subsection on the gross value of thermal or steam coal produced shall be reduced by one-half of one percent, and each July 1 the tax rate imposed by this subsection on the gross value of thermal or steam coal produced shall be reduced by one-half of one percent, until July 1, 2022, where the tax shall be three percent.”
